While both life coaches and therapists help individuals improve their lives, therapists typically focus on addressing mental health issues and past traumas, while life coaches focus on helping individuals achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan. It involves the transfer of universal energy through the hands of a practitioner to the recipient. The goal of Reiki is to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and stimulate the body’s natural healing processes.
By channeling this healing energy, Reiki helps to clear and balance the energy centers, or chakras, in the body. This process can remove energetic blockages that may be hindering personal and professional growth. These blockages, often caused by stress, emotional trauma, or negative thought patterns, can manifest as physical ailments, mental fog, or emotional imbalances.
When these blockages are removed, individuals often experience a renewed sense of clarity, focus, and motivation. This can enhance their ability to set and achieve personal and professional goals. By promoting a state of overall well-being, Reiki supports individuals in making positive changes, overcoming obstacles, and reaching their full potential.
My approach to goal-setting is to help clients identify specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals. I also work with clients to create an action plan and provide accountability to ensure they stay on track to achieve their goals.
Confidentiality is of utmost importance in my coaching practise. I adhere to the International Coach Federation's (ICF) Code of Ethics, which includes strict guidelines for maintaining client confidentiality.
